BMW Academy ...
« on: April 30, 2016, 06:51:50 pm »
Had to attend a course last week at BMW's training centre at Wokefield Park near Reading, lovely venue made even better when I discovered the hotel had my fave single malt ... 16 year old Lagavulin ......

My colleague and I ordered a few doubles (well it would be rude not to) ..... but £36 a round for the two of us was a bit ....ouch :D

And you wonder why service charges are so high? The customer eventually foots the bill!

Aha!  That's the one with the golf course attached isn't it.  I spent a long evening and part of the morning there a few years ago.  Alas we were on the whisky but rather too much as I've no idea what I sampled!
