My Bikes, well the ones I could find photos of
« on: February 24, 2016, 07:28:56 pm »
First Bike......Was told it was the fastest production 250 at the time.....

Like ridding a road drill............

Seemed like a good idea at the time

Always wanted one

Had this bike for about 14 years (I think)...Great bike

Not much could keep up with this round the "B" roads, but hard work on Dual carriage way/motorways trying to keep up with real bikes

Great on "A" Dual carriageways & motorway if you have to......I have about 3 or 4 layers on in the photo, honest

And the bonus bike.....Magic little bike.
Ride like they are out to kill you and live to ride another day

Very nice.

I like the progression from tarmac -> holed tarmac -> brick paving.
Oh, was I supposed to look at the bikes?

The archaeology is just as much fun - like placing the Honda into the timeline.

More politely, I quite like the first one - is it a Starfire or something?

Looks like a Royal Enfield Crusader.
It was seeing the foreigners passing us going down the Petite St. Bernard's pass that made me want to get back to motorcycling. They were all on FJ1200s and I always wanted one.
Its not always the destination that counts its the ride, having a destination just stops you going round in circles.

An interesting progression from one to four cylinders to start with but why no 6 cylinder engine?

How pretty is that RC30. Some paint job.
As I have grown older, I've learned that pleasing everybody is impossible, but pissing everyone off is a piece of cake.
