I know this is an old thread but...
This happened!

Still needs minor tweaking to eliminate a minimal rub against the speedo bezel by the LHS handguard on full right lock. Will post better pics when I've eliminated that issue.

Here's the LINK
https://chainspeed.co.uk/barkbusters-stm-007-universal-handguards-with-handlebar-end-mounting-6mm-or-8mm/

I went for the VPS model as it's adjustable in terms of the wind protection.
I'm not convinced the Storm would fit with stock K13s bars.

LED Running Lights are here
https://chainspeed.co.uk/barkbusters-led-white-running-light-kit-for-storm-vps-pair/

LED Indicators are here if you're so inclined
https://chainspeed.co.uk/barkbusters-led-indicator-kit-for-storm-vps-pair/

Service from Chainspeed was top notch.
They called me next day to confirm what I ordered was actually what I wanted/needed (international call remember) and I had the goodies in my hands within 2 days.

Rubbing issue now sorted.

Nothing fancy needed, I just bent the end of the mount back about 8mm towards the bars and there's ample clearance.

And the full Christmas Tree effect, just for Brian.

No excuses for SMIDSY here!

words and bright lights

No excuses for SMIDSY here!

'They' never need an excuse for SMIDSY!

I like the idea of hand guards, maybe without the lights i'd like them with my entirely subjective tastes. But either way, you gots to get the kelvins lined up boyo! :P

Is there a danger of your front indicators being overwhelmed?

It came to mind because it occurred to me that strip LEDS along the mirrors would work, but they would need to dim/switch off when indicating.
(When I say 'work', I mean you would be big & bright, but possibly look like a small car, or a big car a long way away, c.f. https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/MMiKyfd6hA0.)

Kelvins - had to think about that for a bit. Agreed!

Turn signals are still clearly visible. There's enough distance between the LEDs and indicators for them to appear as discrete light sources and the LEDs are angled down to avoid glare.

Barkbusters missed a trick there though. They could have had Bi-colour LEDs that switched from white position lights to strobing orange turn signals as required.

The motolights on the forks are a tight 8 degree beam and angled for a 2 inch fall over 25ft so no glare from them either.

With LED, HID and Halogen it's a Kelvin free for all!  8)
