Google Drive - images not showing (Jan 24)

A lot of our images are no longer showing in old posts.
It is a known fault/issue, and probably(?) not the evil darklord Google excercising his unbounded power.

There is a very temporary work-around below for new posts, which will display your image, most likely at a lower resolution, but it appears usable for our purposes.
However, imgbb is the best bet right now (as of Jan 24).

Follow the original instructions, but change step 2 to:

2. The magic bit: Add your image ID into a special 'direct' URL. The basic 'direct' URL is:
https://drive.google.com/thumbnail?id=XXXXXXX&sz=w800

Adding your unique image ID gives:
https://drive.google.com/thumbnail?id=1aE8S0SPTusdtpcQuTQFYjfl4JYtFPISH&sz=w800

Then step 3 as before - wrap with [img], etc.
