Autocom & Zumo
« on: May 30, 2016, 01:41:46 pm »
need a bit of help. I used to have a Autocom pro avi set up on my GS with a Zumo 550, connected to my lid with the coiled wire. When i bought my K1300r, it came with a Zumo 350lm, which is bluetooth. I bought the scala BT headset but the sound quality from the headset is no where near as good as the Autocom set, the Zumo only sends out on mono on BT and the Autocom was stereo (wired in). Question is is that can i use the Autocom with the 350lm wired in and not have to have it blue toothed, i much prefer the wired system .

What happened to the 550?

I'd contact Autocom who are (who used to be) very good at selling you the correct cable to connect a Boy Scout to a horse's hoof; if anyone knows they will!

Brian (who sure doesn't miss the cables and boxes and more boxes and yet more cables  :o )

Sounds like a cable issue as already pointed by Brian.

The 350LM has a 3.5mm audio out.
You should be able to use the same wiring as with the 550 or get a new cable from Autocom.
