New guy, if not fresh face!

Hello from the western edge of Canada.  I’m settling into a 2009 K1300R, Lava Orange.  I picked this up just over a year ago with just 5200k on it.  I put Heli bars and lowered the foot pegs.  I also fitted SW Motech crash bars.  These were specifically added for highway pegs.  This bike fits my body like no other.  8-10 hours days are no problem when needed.  I enjoyed Top Gear and all those exotic cars.  But I did wonder why drive something that you can rarely if ever run at the upper performance level?   Well now I know, it’s about the responsiveness.

Hello and welcome. Lava orange is the correct colour. Heli bars and special  pegs are a must for certain type of bodies including me  . Highways love the K and vice versa.
The madhouse officials at din the annual old gits trip so more welcome comments after a few days.

Thanks all.  If I am surrounded by Russians, they sure have the local dialect down!  I need to pay more attention.  A sideways glance at my neighbour Vlad.
