I just factor the fine into the cost of the holiday, displaying false number plates would be far worse than the speeding and possibly a jail sentence would follow  :-\

I've heard the penalties for no number plate are less than altered plate. Velcro.

We are heading for Switzerland in the summer (Grindelwald) via France (or Belgium, or Holland if that turns out to be easier!). Myself and wife on the K1300GT, and our daughter on her Honda NC700X.

We hope to visit Europe's biggest bike dealership nearby, a couple of cafe's well known for views of the Alps and a village that is only accessible by cog railway and cablecar.

One of my favorite places to go hiking take a week in August or start of September contact me if you want any info

Steve, that's very kind of you. We're planning for mid - August and staying at the Sunstar Hotel in Grindelwald for four nights (if the world has returned to some semblance of normality by then!).

I like the sound of that! I just need somewhere to leave the bike and ideally my friend's kids!
