One word - polyester.

She's had to turn her head away because of the polyester armpit stench, but hey, no wrinkles...
Blimey is that picture from a 1970's Penthouse magazine  ;D

Hi Nick.
Certain engines do burn a little oil as the age, my daughters 115,000 Yaris T-sport can sup up to a litre per 10,000 miles but there is no black smoke and the emissions show the Cat. is still working fine.
one litre per 1000km, that's about 5 fill ups of the thimble fuel tank does seem excessive to be classed as acceptable though

I expect to be corrected, but I don't think there's any engineering reason the radiator has to be directly behind the front wheel. Some Hondas (VTR1000 maybe) have side mounted rads so it's probably just a case of getting the plumbing and airflow sorted. Putting it out front like most other water-cooled engines might be the most common approach but BMW don't seem to mind non-conformist design in other areas so that shouldn't stop them. Maybe there are no cows anywhere near their test track... Something for a K1400S perhaps.
The old Austin Mini's had their rads to the side too.. Not much help i know but i thought i'd point it out..  ;D

Be interesting to see if my battery is any good after sitting on a 13.4v charger all winter

Winter is over, Blobby. Come out!

8C, thick cloud and breezy.
Yup, that's about the going rate for April...
Just need to get it MOT'd.. I'm off Thursday so hopefully will do it then.
Can't even go riding this weekend which is meant to be nice as I'm on call.  :(

Past motorcycles I've clocked well over 50k on them.

As for my present K it's 4 years old and just over 2,000 miles, see what happens when you don't have to do a 120 mile-a-day commute anymore..

Batteries are a the devils work.. many moons ago i went round a friends house car started fine, spent 2 hours there, in that time the battery completely died, we managed to start it by him towing me but on the journey home you could tell the battery was cattle trucked because the headlights dimmed in time with my indicators..

Tomorrow bike will be ready for the summer, today 33 here.
Back to thread and after this long paragraph my mind still goes to coils.

And all our minds all go to 33C Life - it's tough. But the snow has stopped in the UK.  8)
Enjoy it, Costas!
I was going to say all that rain water must have got into your spark plugs  ;D ;D

Picked up the youngest daughter from the airport, she was in Thailand which was hitting 40 deg C... So  :P Costas  ;D
How delighted was she to come home to hail and torrential on and off rain  :(

apart from the noise of moving coins I doubt the coins would do anything, I know 1p,2p coins will stick to a magnet, not sure about others.

If it were me I would drain it down and go searching
